About the role
We are seeking a mid‑level Database Administrator with strong hands‑on experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL. The role involves managing databases in both cloud and on‑premises environments for business‑critical FinTech and Telecom systems.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure and manage Oracle and PostgreSQL databases across cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.
- Perform sizing, capacity planning, storage management, replication, high availability and disaster recovery setup.
- Monitor health, availability and performance; troubleshoot performance, connectivity and production issues.
- Handle backups, restoration, upgrades and migrations; optimise queries and overall database performance.
- Maintain security, access controls and user privileges while collaborating with application, infrastructure and engineering teams.
Required profile
- Strong hands‑on experience as a Database Administrator.
- Solid expertise with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience managing databases in both cloud and on‑premises environments.
- Proven ability to support high‑volume, business‑critical production systems.
