Mobile Application Developer – React Native (iOS/Android)

About the role

Our client is seeking a Mobile Application Developer with strong expertise in React Native to build and maintain high-quality cross-platform applications for Android and iOS. The role involves collaborating with agile teams to deliver user-friendly mobile solutions that integrate with backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and release mobile applications using React Native for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Implement UI/UX designs to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Integrate third-party RESTful APIs and handle JSON data efficiently.
• Manage application state with Redux or Context API to ensure predictable behavior.
• Utilize Git for version control and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Apply Android development fundamentals and follow iOS build and release procedures.
• Incorporate Firebase services such as Analytics, Crashlytics, and Push Notifications.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise app performance.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality releases.

Required profile

• At least four years of professional experience developing mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with React Native and state-management libraries.
• Familiarity with Android and iOS development lifecycles.
• Experience using Firebase services for analytics, crash reporting, and notifications.
