About the role
Join Novo Nordisk’s Sales team as a National Trade Manager and lead the design and execution of trade strategies that drive growth across key account channels. You will collaborate with Marketing and cross‑functional partners to shape national trade initiatives and influence consumer decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement national trade strategies in partnership with Marketing and other functions.
- Define role charters, KPIs, targets, and resource allocation models to optimise performance.
- Own and monitor national trade KPIs, review regional results, identify gaps and deploy corrective actions.
- Identify and develop new growth engines such as large networks, chains, influencers and innovative trade models.
- Build frontline manager capabilities through coaching, performance management and execution excellence.
- Design and deliver training frameworks for trade teams, including pharmacy and execution excellence.
- Lead strategic partnerships and stakeholder management with distributors, trade channels and platform partners.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy or a related field.
- 10+ years of commercial experience in FMCG, pharma or healthcare, with national trade/channel management and key‑account exposure.
- Proven ability to build and execute national trade strategies using consumer insights.
- Strong distributor and partner management, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated people leadership, coaching and performance‑management experience.
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
