NDT Lead – Senior Non‑Destructive Testing Manager

About the role

The NDT Lead will head Bureau Veritas Pakistan’s non‑destructive testing service line, driving both conventional and advanced inspection capabilities to meet market demand. This senior position reports to the Head of Industry and works closely with operations, clients and business development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the NDT service line, ensuring high‑quality inspection services compliant with international standards.
• Develop, review and approve NDT procedures, techniques and inspection plans for both conventional and advanced methods.
• Support business growth by creating technical proposals, cost estimates and new service offerings.
• Mentor Level I & II inspectors, build internal competency programs and promote adoption of advanced NDT technologies.
• Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor and ensuring client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in NDT, with proven leadership of multi‑site operations and high‑pressure projects.
• Strong decision‑making, results‑driven mindset and ability to meet KPIs related to revenue, project delivery and resource efficiency.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards, complying with BV HSE policies.

Required skills

• NDT Level III certification (ASNT/PCN or equivalent) in UT, ET, RT, MT, PT, AE, VT.
• Advanced NDT techniques: PAUT, TOFD, MFL, Guided Wave Testing.
• Heat‑exchanger tube inspection and integrity assessment.
• Knowledge of codes & standards: ASME, API, ISO 9712, SNT‑TC‑1A.
• Technical proposal development, cost estimation and tender support.
