News Anchor Intern

About the role

TechPartner is looking for a confident, energetic News Anchor Intern to join its media and content team in Lahore. The intern will present news on camera, assist with research and script preparation, and help produce short‑form video news for digital platforms. The role offers hands‑on experience in digital journalism and on‑camera presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Present news stories and updates on camera with clear pronunciation and appropriate tone.
• Deliver prepared scripts professionally, ensuring accurate facts and context.
• Research local, national, international and trending news topics.
• Collaborate with the content team to draft, review and refine news scripts before recording.
• Record short‑form news videos, breaking updates, explainers and other formats for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.
• Assist in editing recorded footage to ensure quality and brand consistency.

Required profile

• Fluent Urdu with excellent pronunciation and good English reading comprehension.
• Strong public‑speaking and storytelling ability.
• Awareness of current affairs and digital media trends.
• Confident body language, facial expressions and teamwork skills.
• Effective time‑management and ability to adapt to short‑form digital formats.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle breaking news situations.
