Operations Engineer

About the role

The Operations Engineer will analyse large volumes of visual and other data from on‑shore and off‑shore infrastructure to identify, annotate and assess mechanical, structural and hydraulic features. The role supports condition assessment and asset integrity management for a range of industrial assets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse visual and sensor data to identify faults, defects and key engineering features.
• Create photogrammetric 3D models and perform metrology analysis for precise measurements.
• Apply client‑specific and industry condition‑assessment standards (API, NACE, ASCE, ASME).
• Prepare engineering inspection and condition‑assessment reports.
• Conduct basic quality‑assurance checks on own work and that of teammates.

Required profile

• High attention to detail and continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in remote or hybrid teams.
• Experience interpreting engineering schematics, P&IDs, isometrics and process diagrams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools, Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD and Autodesk Recap.
• Experience handling point‑cloud data and manual data annotation.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets and G‑Suite skills.
• Understanding of data analytics, photogrammetry and 3D modelling.
• Knowledge of API, NACE, ASCE and ASME inspection and coating standards.
