Operations Manager - Wireline

About the role

The Operations Manager – Wireline will drive profitable growth, develop market intelligence and lead a professional sales and technical team to meet client needs across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain close client contact, ensure service quality reviews and compliance with Wireline policies and SOPs.
• Evaluate field operations, conduct wellsite visits, and analyse reports for quality control.
• Coordinate technical sales resources to win contracts and provide high‑level client support.
• Facilitate training workshops and identify client needs to propose integrated solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and contribute to market input collection.
• Demonstrate and improve knowledge of Wireline operations, including radiation, ballistics, pressure control, rig‑up and preventative maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical or related).
• 10+ years of experience in Wireline operations, preferably with Weatherford or similar oilfield service companies.
• Proven leadership in managing field personnel, multiple crews and service lines.
• Strong commercial, financial and HSE awareness.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and stakeholder management skills.
