About the role

MD Energy Traders is a UK-based utility consultancy that helps businesses choose practical, competitive options for gas, electricity and telecommunications. It is hiring an Outbound Sales Representative in Lahore to introduce its services to prospective business customers and develop opportunities through professional outbound outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to businesses to introduce utility consultancy services and identify their needs
• Ask questions about gas, electricity and telecom requirements, contract status and decision-making processes
• Explain service offerings and the value of comparing utility options
• Qualify prospects, handle initial objections and arrange follow-up or handover to the sales team
• Maintain call notes, prospect details and activity records in the tracking systems
• Follow outreach processes and quality standards while working toward individual and team targets

Required profile

• Confident, clear spoken communication and a professional telephone manner
• Ability to start outbound calls, build rapport and keep conversations engaging
• Active listening and effective questioning to understand prospect needs
• Persuasive presentation of services without overpromising
• Resilience when facing objections and rejection
• Strong follow-up, organization and time-management skills
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn utility products and sales tools
