Part‑time Academic Peer Reviewer – Political Science (PhD)

About the role

We are seeking experienced scholars in political science to join our remote peer‑review team on a long‑term, part‑time basis. The role involves evaluating manuscript submissions for originality, methodological soundness, and overall contribution to the field.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and relevance of submitted research.
• Review study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyze results and conclusions for clarity and validity.
• Provide constructive, written feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in political science or a closely related discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality, objectivity, and ethical standards.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
