Part‑time PhD Peer Reviewer – Manufacturing Engineering

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering to join our editorial team as part‑time peer reviewers. This long‑term, remote position allows you to contribute to the scientific community by evaluating manuscript quality while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of submitted manuscripts and determine their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility of the research.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyze results and conclusions for clarity, accuracy, and significance.
• Provide constructive, clear, and concise feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
