Pediatrician

About the role

ChildLife Foundation is seeking a full‑time Pediatrician to join its emergency and primary care teams in Multan, Pakistan. The successful candidate will deliver evidence‑based clinical care to infants, children, and adolescents in both emergency and outpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate medications.
• Develop individualized care plans in line with ChildLife clinical protocols.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Counsel parents and caregivers, documenting all clinical encounters accurately.
• Support the training and mentorship of junior staff.
• Uphold patient safety, ethical standards, and quality‑of‑care guidelines.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed pediatric residency or equivalent training.
• Valid professional registration and license as required by local regulations.
• Strong clinical foundation in medicine and primary care, with expertise in pediatrics.
• Experience in high‑volume emergency or pediatric care settings, preferably in public or teaching hospitals.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and counseling abilities.
• Commitment to child protection, ethical practice, continuous learning, and evidence‑based guidelines.
