Penetration Testing Instructor

About the role

Red Line Shield is seeking a Penetration Testing Instructor to lead hands‑on, classroom‑based training for aspiring security professionals. You will teach learners how to plan, execute, and document penetration tests in realistic environments while keeping the curriculum aligned with the latest threat landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Design, update and maintain course materials, labs and practical exercises for web and network penetration testing.
• Deliver lectures, workshops and live demonstrations of offensive security tools and techniques.
• Mentor learners through technical challenges, provide feedback and assess performance.
• Demonstrate tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, SQLmap and Wireshark.
• Ensure training content reflects current industry best practices and emerging threats.
• Collaborate with internal security teams to incorporate real‑world case studies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the training program.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and common web application vulnerabilities.
• Deep knowledge of vulnerability assessment, security testing methodologies and secure coding principles.
• Proven experience identifying, validating and exploiting security vulnerabilities.
• Hands‑on experience performing web‑application and network penetration testing.
• Excellent communication, presentation and classroom‑management skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for learners of varying experience levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT or equivalent practical experience.
