People Business Partner

About the role

The People Business Partner aligns HR strategy with business objectives, acting as a consultant to managers and employees on HR‑related issues. This role supports employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational change across Motive’s diverse client groups.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior HR leaders to understand business goals and align HR strategies.
• Drive consistent implementation of HR strategies across assigned client groups.
• Support managers in team building, onboarding, performance management, engagement and employee relations.
• Provide coaching on talent development, inclusive leadership and employee concerns.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures and legal requirements.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support change‑management initiatives and embed DEI principles into talent practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred).
• 5+ years progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in an HRBP role.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and drive HR initiatives.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Analytical, solution‑oriented mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Experience with change management and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills
