PhD Scholar – Machine Learning (Remote)

About the role

This full‑time remote position is a PhD scholarship focused on advancing machine‑learning research within a School of Literature. The scholar will explore innovative applications of AI to digital content, language technologies, and data‑driven marketing while contributing to the school’s academic and publishing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate machine‑learning models and neural‑network architectures.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Develop experimental frameworks for pattern‑recognition tasks.
• Prepare and submit research papers to reputable journals and conferences.
• Collaborate with faculty, industry partners, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support teaching activities and mentor junior researchers or students.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in computer science, programming, and statistical analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, including literature reviews and experimental design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for academic and teaching contexts.
• Motivation to pursue PhD‑level research and publish in reputed journals.
