About the role

Chughtai Healthcare is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join its medical team in Pakistan. The role focuses on accurate venipuncture, specimen collection, and strict adherence to infection‑control and laboratory safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture procedures safely to collect blood samples.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort.
• Collect and handle various specimen types according to established protocols.
• Maintain strict infection‑control measures during collection and processing.
• Follow laboratory safety guidelines to prevent contamination.
• Maintain and troubleshoot phlebotomy equipment.
• Enter patient and specimen data accurately into the laboratory information system.
• Conduct quality‑assurance checks on specimens.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to resolve collection issues.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in phlebotomy and laboratory procedures.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and laboratory safety practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to interact compassionately with patients.
