PHP Full Stack Developer – WordPress & Shopify

About the role

Our Dubai‑based client is seeking a PHP Full Stack Developer with strong WordPress and Shopify experience to work onsite at their offshore office in Johar Town, Lahore. The role involves building and maintaining dynamic, database‑driven websites and web applications, using both back‑end and front‑end technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and support PHP/MySQL applications, Shopify API integrations and WordPress sites.
• Create custom WordPress themes, plugins and WooCommerce extensions.
• Implement responsive front‑end interfaces using Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript and React.
• Write clean, modular code following OOP and functional programming principles.
• Maintain version control using Git, Mercurial, CVS or SVN.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot issues and optimise performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong command of English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work full‑time onsite (09:00 AM‑07:00 PM, 5 days a week).
• Portfolio or demonstrable projects showcasing WordPress and Shopify work.

Required skills

• Core PHP, OOP, functional programming.
• WordPress theme, plugin and widget development; WooCommerce architecture.
• Shopify platform and API integration.
• Front‑end technologies: Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, jQuery, JavaScript, Typescript, React.
• Database experience with MySQL and NoSQL solutions.
• Version control systems: Git, Mercurial, CVS, SVN.
• AJAX, JSON, XML, REST API handling.
