Planning Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Planning Analyst to join our PMO team. You will be the backbone of resource planning and program execution, creating visibility across our delivery pipeline, maintaining accurate project data, and supporting leadership decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate resource data from multiple stakeholders to create comprehensive program‑wide plans that balance delivery load, capacity, and timelines.
• Track and maintain delivery capacity records, communicate changes, and gather project progress updates for senior leadership.
• Design and improve processes and tools to enable real‑time visibility of resource allocation, creating dashboards that show actual vs. planned timelines and capacity utilization.
• Communicate third‑party vendor resourcing requirements, identify planning risks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate resource shortages.
• Stay informed on industry best practices and recommend improvements to enhance planning accuracy and reporting quality.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to data accuracy and integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple time zones and support short‑notice requests.
• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera for task scheduling and critical path analysis.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Ability to create visual models including process flows and data flow diagrams.
