Podcast Operations & Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

HG Marketing is seeking a detail‑oriented Podcast Operations & Quality Assurance Specialist to manage end‑to‑end podcast execution for multiple B2B clients. The role focuses on systems, quality control, and seamless publishing rather than creative editing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough quality checks on audio, video, show notes, articles, clips and thumbnails using structured checklists.
• Identify and resolve errors, compliance issues and brand mismatches before client approval.
• Schedule and publish episodes on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other platforms, optimizing metadata such as titles, descriptions, tags and timestamps.
• Maintain content calendars for episodes, clips and related assets.
• Act as primary point of contact for assigned clients, communicating updates, timelines and feedback.
• Coordinate internal teams (editors, writers, designers) to ensure smooth workflow from raw files to final delivery.
• Track asset movement through QA, publishing and client delivery, flagging bottlenecks early.
• Follow and improve SOPs, QA checklists and documentation of published episodes.

Required profile

• Strong experience in podcast management, content operations or media quality assurance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot errors that others miss.
• Comfortable handling multiple client workflows in a fast‑moving environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
