Poultry Sciences Doctor (Layer Operations)

About the role

The Poultry Sciences Doctor will lead the technical and veterinary function across Chaudhry Group’s layer farms, based in Faisalabad and surrounding cities. You will be responsible for flock health, productivity, and bio‑security, working closely with senior management to drive performance and support export‑scale growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead flock health and disease management, including diagnosis, treatment protocols, post‑mortem analysis and laboratory coordination.
• Optimize production metrics such as feed conversion ratio (FCR), hen‑day production, egg quality and mortality rates.
• Design, implement and enforce bio‑security and vaccination programmes that meet international standards.
• Supervise farm teams, develop and maintain SOPs for daily operations, hygiene, feed management and reporting.

Required profile

• DVM degree with a specialization in Poultry Sciences (Master’s or PhD is a strong plus).
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in commercial layer farming, preferably in controlled‑shed environments.
• Strong knowledge of layer nutrition, ventilation and disease cycles in Pakistan’s climate.
• Proven leadership ability to manage staff, train teams and enforce SOPs.
• Willingness to travel frequently across farms and field locations.
