Power Generation Operator (Karachi)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Operator to join our team in Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of generators and related electrical equipment, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate power generation and distribution systems.
• Inspect generators, transformers, panels and switchgear for performance and safety.
• Record voltage, load and power consumption data accurately.
• Identify faults, troubleshoot electrical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance checks and support scheduled shutdowns.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to plan repairs and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety SOPs and electrical compliance standards.
• Maintain daily operational logs and generate reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in Electrical engineering (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in a power plant or industrial factory environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical panels and power systems.
• Ability to respond to emergency breakdowns and perform troubleshooting.
