Powerhouse Supervisor

About the role

Master Plastic Pack Limited, a packaging and flexible printing company, is looking for a Powerhouse Supervisor to ensure reliable operation of its powerhouse and utility systems that support production. The role involves overseeing daily operations, monitoring equipment performance, and coordinating with production and maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily powerhouse operations, equipment status, and operating parameters.
• Coordinate startup, shutdown, load management and operating changes according to production needs.
• Monitor generators, electrical distribution, compressors, boilers and related utility equipment.
• Record fuel usage, meter readings, operating conditions, breakdowns and shift activities.
• Identify abnormal conditions, respond to operational issues and promptly escalate major faults.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs and contractor activities with the maintenance team.
• Enforce safety procedures, housekeeping standards, permit requirements and emergency response practices.
• Guide powerhouse operators, allocate shift duties and ensure effective handovers and reporting.

Required profile

• Practical experience supervising powerhouse, generator, electrical utility or industrial power operations.
• Working knowledge of generators, electrical panels, distribution systems, compressors, boilers and industrial utilities.
• Ability to read operating gauges, interpret load and consumption data and maintain accurate logbooks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for power interruptions, equipment abnormalities and utility failures.
• Knowledge of preventive‑maintenance coordination, basic electrical safety, lockout/tagout procedures and emergency response.
• Capability to supervise operators, organize shift coverage and communicate clearly with production and maintenance teams.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with a focus on safety, discipline and continuous uptime.
• Basic computer skills for reports, records, schedules and inventory or fuel monitoring.
