Principal Information Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Principal Information Security Engineer to lead our enterprise cybersecurity operations. The role will oversee security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, and data protection across a dynamic, on‑site environment in Lahore.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Tier‑2 SOC operations, threat monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting.
• Administer and optimize IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender XDR, creating detection use cases and dashboards.
• Drive Data Loss Prevention initiatives, policy development, data classification, and compliance reporting.
• Implement security controls for Azure and AWS, conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines.
• Mentor SOC analysts, collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and compliance teams, and present risk metrics to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or security engineering.
• Proven track record leading SOC operations and enterprise‑wide security programs.
