Principal Program Manager – Remote, $200k/year

About the role

Lead the execution layer for an AI‑powered education model, delivering trustworthy portfolio dashboards, vendor scorecards, and contract controls that enable executives to make fast, high‑impact decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own portfolio‑level dashboards for 10+ concurrent initiatives, using AI to detect slippage, expose blockers, and provide executive visibility on delivery, budget, and risk.
• Run recurring vendor performance reviews and maintain rubric‑based scorecards covering delivery, quality, cost, and contractual commitments.
• Lead competitive technology‑vendor procurement, creating structured bid packages, scoring rubrics, SOWs, and evidence‑backed recommendations.
• Govern contracts and invoices by tracking fee caps, milestones, acceptance criteria, and validating invoices against signed terms before spend approval.

Required profile

• Direct ownership of a portfolio of 10+ initiatives with at least $5M budget responsibility and authority over allocation, vendor selection, or prioritisation.
• Managed 5+ external technology vendors simultaneously (SaaS, AI/ML platforms, marketing agencies, engineering firms).
• Proven track record of delivering dashboards that informed C‑suite go/no‑go decisions on vendor renewal, budget reallocation, or initiative deprioritisation.
• Experience leading competitive technology procurement, authoring SOWs with measurable deliverables, and negotiating commercial terms enforced through invoice validation.

Required skills

• AI‑enabled dashboards, anomaly detection, predictive alerts, natural‑language analysis.
• Portfolio and delivery tools such as Linear and Jira.

What we offer

• Full‑time remote position (40 hours/week) with a $200,000 USD annual compensation ($100 USD/hour), paid weekly.
