Principal Software Engineer (Node & React)

About the role

Creative Chaos is looking for a Principal Software Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js and React to lead the development of robust server and client applications. You will ensure high‑quality, secure, and performant solutions while mentoring a team of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing training and guidance.
• Analyze business requirements, estimate tasks, and write clean code with unit tests.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js frameworks (ExpressJS, NestJS) and build responsive front‑ends with React, Redux, and Context.
• Optimize code for security and performance, maintain systems, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, update issue trackers, and communicate progress to clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6‑8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to evaluate candidates and contribute to hiring decisions.
