Procurement Manager - Construction Materials & Strategic Sourcing

About the role

Takmeel Square is looking for a competent, commercially astute and results-oriented Procurement Manager to oversee procurement for its ongoing commercial construction and real estate development projects. The role sits within construction procurement, strategic sourcing and cost management, and is based in DHA Bahawalpur.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full construction procurement cycle: supplier identification, competitive sourcing, price negotiation, purchase order management and delivery coordination.
• Ensure competitive procurement costs without compromising material specifications, quality standards or project timelines.
• Work closely with project engineers, construction managers, finance and inventory teams to keep procurement transparent and suppliers accountable.
• Manage procurement budgets, vendor relationships and purchasing documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of direct procurement experience in construction or real estate development projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience sourcing cement, steel, electrical, plumbing, MEP and finishing materials.
• Strong understanding of BOQs, RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders and technical material specifications.
• Demonstrated expertise in supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, market price analysis and cost optimisation.
• Ability to manage procurement budgets and vendor relationships independently.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and procurement management systems.
• Supplier evaluation, quotation comparison and material costing.
