Product Accountant

About the role

Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO) is seeking a Product Accountant to join its Karachi office. The role focuses on accounting for local crude, high‑speed diesel (HSD) and motor gasoline (MOGAS) products within the oil sector.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and yearly stock and MIS reports, schedules, reconciliations and data analysis.
• Handle stock accounting, review crude shipment reports and liaise with vendors and OMCs for day‑to‑day queries.
• Process vendor invoices within stipulated timelines.
• Assist and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Submit monthly reports to external regulatory authorities.
• Generate fortnightly sales invoices for HSD/MOGAS across all locations.
• Coordinate physical stock count exercises with relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional credentials such as ACCA, ACMA or equivalent preferred.
• Up to 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the oil sector in Pakistan.
• Experience in product accounting for local crude, HSD and MOGAS.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP HANA.
• Familiarity with ISOIL system.
