Product Designer – Cosmetics & Packaging

About the role

The Product Designer will join New Trend International Industries in Lahore to create innovative cosmetic products and packaging that reflect brand standards, market trends, and consumer expectations. This full-time, on-site position works closely with cross-functional teams to turn ideas into market-ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct user and market research to uncover consumer needs and industry trends.
• Develop design concepts, sketches, and prototypes for new cosmetics and their packaging.
• Iterate on aesthetics, usability, and functionality based on feedback and testing.
• Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and production to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet regulatory standards.
• Prepare detailed design documentation and present concepts to stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of the product development process.

Required profile

• Strong product design capability from concept to market-ready solution.
• Proficiency in visual design elements such as layout, colour, typography, and packaging aesthetics.
• Experience applying design-thinking methodologies and conducting user research.
• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design or a related field.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in cosmetics, FMCG or packaging design is a plus.
