Product Development & Sales Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Product Development & Sales Support Engineer to join our client’s manufacturing team in Karachi. The role bridges product engineering with the sales function, helping turn market insights into viable products and supporting the front‑end sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in researching, designing and developing new products based on market trends and client feedback.
• Prepare technical data sheets, product presentations and quotation proposals for the sales team.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market mapping to identify product gaps and growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, QA and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth product trials and timely roll‑outs.
• Respond to technical and product‑related client queries, acting as the link between technical teams and the market.
• Maintain comprehensive records of product specifications, bill of materials and project timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing or industrial B2B sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate market data into product concepts.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating presentations.
• Familiarity with basic product design principles or ERP systems is a plus.
