Product Manager – Credit Card Portfolio

About the role

The Product Manager – Cards will own the strategy, design, performance and regulatory compliance of HugoBank’s credit‑card portfolio, covering both secured and unsecured cards. You will drive growth, financial inclusion and product innovation across the full card lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute end‑to‑end product strategy, create the product roadmap and align it with regulatory milestones.
• Translate concepts into detailed Business Requirement Documents, work with technology and operations to deliver new features, loyalty programmes and digital enhancements.
• Monitor portfolio health (activation, utilisation, delinquency, profitability) and launch campaigns to increase spend, retention and cross‑sell.
• Ensure full compliance with State Bank of Pakistan regulations, manage risk reviews and coordinate fraud‑monitoring frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal functions (Tech, Credit Risk, Finance, Marketing) and external partners (Visa, Mastercard, PayPak, IDEMIA, NymCard) to design and launch compelling card propositions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive product‑management experience in credit cards, consumer lending or payments.
• Proven track record of launching and managing secured, unsecured and co‑branded card products.
• Experience with SBP regulatory frameworks and card‑scheme partnerships.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with card schemes such as Visa, Mastercard and PayPak.
• Working knowledge of third‑party processors (e.g., IDEMIA, NymCard).
• Ability to produce Business Requirement Documents and manage UAT/testing cycles.
