Production Coordinator – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Coordinator will support supervisors in planning shifts, maintaining accurate ERP entries, and preparing production reports. Working in a dynamic food manufacturing environment, the role focuses on minimizing disruptions, optimizing resource use, and ensuring production targets are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly production plans to meet goals and deadlines.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to secure raw material availability.
• Issue production orders and batch sheets to the shop floor.
• Track output, downtime, and material consumption for reporting.
• Facilitate communication among production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of ERP data and production documentation.
• Assist supervisors in shift organization to maximize manpower efficiency.
• Identify and follow up on shortages, delays, or changeovers promptly.
• Manage and mentor a team of six personnel.
• Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce waste.
• Monitor safety and quality compliance throughout production.
• Generate regular performance reports for management.
