Production Executive – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

National Foods Limited is seeking a Production Executive to lead daily manufacturing activities for its ketchup, sauces, mayonnaise and other emulsified products. The role ensures consistent quality, efficient resource use and alignment with the company’s production targets and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily production plans to meet customer demand and schedules.
• Supervise batching, mixing, cooking, emulsification, filling, packing and labeling operations.
• Monitor critical parameters such as temperature, pH, viscosity, Brix and mixing times.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to verify product specifications.
• Maintain raw material and packaging availability before production starts.
• Minimize losses, waste and rework while improving machine utilization and labor productivity.
• Track Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and drive improvement initiatives.
• Work with Maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain production records, batch manufacturing records, shift reports and equipment logs.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO principles for raw materials and finished goods.
• Lead, train and supervise production operators on SOPs, food safety and safe work practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement, cost‑reduction and Lean Manufacturing projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 1‑3 years of experience in food manufacturing or related production environment.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP and food safety regulations.
