Production Intern – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Production Intern to gain hands‑on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing at GSK’s Karachi facility. The role provides exposure to the full production cycle, from dispensing to packaging, within a regulated GMP environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and learn the end‑to‑end production process, including dispensing, manufacturing, filling and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
• Support production activities according to the production plan and observe GMP, safety and regulatory standards.
• Follow good documentation practices and ensure compliance while working in manufacturing and packing areas.
• Contribute to departmental objectives and projects, and help monitor production performance and KPIs.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Required profile

• Pharm D or Bachelor of Sciences (or equivalent relevant degree).
• Strong motivation to learn pharmaceutical processes and operations.
• Good communication, presentation and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail, problem‑solving attitude and adaptability to a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
