Production Supervisor – Pharmaceutical Division

About the role

The Production Supervisor will support the Manager of Production in the Liquid Finishing and Finished Goods Quarantine area of our pharmaceutical plant. The role ensures that all manufacturing, finishing and dispensing activities are carried out in compliance with company policies, local regulations, cGMP, EHS standards and security procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing, finishing and dispensing operations according to SOPs, shop orders and documented procedures.
• Meet scheduled operation due dates, daily run rates and continuous‑improvement targets.
• Identify and reduce non‑value‑added activities, scrap, rework and shrinkage while increasing yields.
• Provide data for KPI measurement and assist in root‑cause analysis for process improvement.
• Standardise weighing balances daily and incorporate OEE data from blister and bottle‑pack machines into the system.
• Ensure products are packed in a controlled environment meeting all quality, EHS and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain skill matrix, training needs analysis and master training records for area staff.
• Update DMS boards and foster a positive employee‑relations atmosphere.

Required profile

• Science graduate or Master’s degree; Pharm D preferred.
• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of experience in a similar supervisory capacity.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.
