Production Support Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Production Support Officer to join our manufacturing site in Pakistan. You will collaborate with operators, maintenance, quality and contractors to keep equipment running safely and reliably while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment to meet safety, quality and output targets.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and coordinate timely repairs with maintenance and contractors.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records, including downtime, changeovers and shift handovers.
• Work with quality and safety teams to uphold Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and site EHS standards.
• Supervise, coach and support technicians or operators to ensure consistent shift performance.
• Identify and support continuous‑improvement activities that increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a GMP‑controlled setting.
• Practical knowledge of production equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience supervising small teams or coaching technicians.

Required skills

• Mechanical, electrical and electronics engineering knowledge.
• Operation of compression, granulation, coating, encapsulation, filling or packing equipment.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar production record systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Understanding of GMP, sterile area procedures and cleanroom operations.
• Risk assessment and safety hazard control expertise.
