Production Support Officer

About the role

The Production Support Officer will work closely with the Production Manager and site staff to ensure manufacturing operations meet GSK quality standards and performance targets. The role involves coordinating resources, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining compliance with GMP and SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Set staff objectives and review achievements using Workday.
• Maintain good site relations and foster a culture of critical thinking and continuous improvement.
• Ensure products meet GSK quality standards and that SOPs and GMP are strictly followed.
• Support resource allocation, new product launches, and KPI achievement, with a focus on OEE.
• Manage disciplinary actions in line with company policy.
• Execute production activities in SAP and maintain QMS documentation, audits, and risk management.
• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance with engineering.
• Develop, review, and train staff on SOPs and batch documents.
• Deliver mandatory trainings and oversee training delivery processes.

Required profile

• Pharm‑D degree.
• 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience in a GMP‑regulated manufacturing environment.
• Practical knowledge of production equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical documents and keep accurate operational records.
• Willingness to work onsite in Pakistan with shift patterns as required.
