Professor of Computing (Remote)

About the role

Riphah International University seeks a highly qualified Professor of Computing to lead curriculum development, conduct cutting‑edge research, and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students. This remote position offers the opportunity to shape computing education and advance the university’s research profile.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive computing curricula aligned with academic standards and industry trends.
• Conduct high‑quality research and publish original articles in HEC‑recognized journals.
• Mentor and guide students on academic projects, research, and career development.
• Participate in curriculum review, departmental committees, and university governance.
• Collaborate with faculty and external partners to foster interdisciplinary research.
• Prepare grant proposals and seek funding for research initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and quality‑assurance standards.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related computing discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of teaching experience or at least 10 years of post‑Ph.D. experience.
• Proven record of at least 15 publications in HEC‑recognized journals, including 5‑7 recent articles.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, research methodology, and academic writing.
• Strong commitment to student mentorship and scholarly collaboration.
