Project Director – Agritech Incubator

About the role

The National Incubation Center (NIC) Faisalabad, Pakistan’s first agritech‑focused incubator, is seeking a visionary Project Director to lead its strategy and operations. You will shape NIC Faisalabad into the country’s premier hub for agricultural technology innovation, supporting startups and driving ecosystem growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap to position NIC Faisalabad as a leading agritech innovation hub.
• Design incubation programmes, mentorship frameworks and support services tailored to agritech startups.
• Develop annual work plans, performance indicators and impact reporting mechanisms.
• Mentor startups on business development, fundraising and technology integration.
• Facilitate connections with investors, industry experts and agritech networks.
• Oversee daily operations, financial management, resource allocation and compliance.
• Build and nurture partnerships with investors, industry leaders, academia and government agencies.
• Represent NIC Faisalabad at local, national and international forums.
• Organise hackathons, networking events and innovation showcases to foster a vibrant entrepreneurial community.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of senior‑level experience in startup incubation, agribusiness or innovation management.
• Proven track record of leading high‑impact programmes and driving ecosystem development.
• Deep understanding of Pakistan’s agritech landscape and startup ecosystem.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning and partnership‑building capabilities.
