Project Trainee – Workplace Assessment

About the role

Join Louis Dreyfus Company as a Project Trainee to conduct workplace practice assessments at ginning facilities. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify improvement areas and support implementation of best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of worker welfare, health & safety, working conditions, grievance mechanisms and labor practices using standardized tools.
• Engage with workers, management, labor contractors and farmers to gather insights and document findings.
• Prepare assessment reports, field visit summaries, action trackers and maintain accurate records.
• Provide basic awareness and training sessions on workplace practices and monitor progress on agreed actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Social Sciences, Business Administration or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in HR, social compliance, employee relations or related projects; fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable with field travel and independent work.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Power BI or other analytical tools (plus)
