Property Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Property Management Accountant to join our team in Gulberg, Lahore. You will work on US‑based residential and commercial property portfolios, handling full‑cycle bookkeeping while aligning with US time‑zone hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle bookkeeping for residential and commercial property portfolios using AppFolio and Buildium.
• Perform triple tie‑outs of trust accounts, reconciling bank balances, system balances, and owner ledger balances.
• Process rent rolls, owner distributions, CAM reconciliations, and security‑deposit accounting.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable for property‑management clients.
• Catch‑up bookkeeping for delinquent or back‑logged accounts.
• Respond promptly to owner and client queries, maintaining high satisfaction.
• Collaborate daily with client teams as an embedded accounting partner.
• Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and year‑end close, including 1099 preparation.
• Apply knowledge of Section 8/HCV requirements, subsidy reconciliations, and compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience supporting US property‑management clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong written English for client‑facing communication.
• ACC​A or CA (partial or complete) preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on proficiency in AppFolio.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Buildium.
• Experience with trust‑account triple tie‑outs.
• Working knowledge of Section 8/HCV programs.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (a plus).
