Python Developer – Backend Services

About the role

Prima Systems is looking for a skilled Software Engineer – Python to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable software applications. The role focuses on building backend services, APIs and database‑driven solutions for the company’s products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain Python‑based software applications.
• Build scalable backend services, RESTful APIs and business logic.
• Integrate third‑party services and develop API endpoints.
• Optimize database queries and overall application performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
