QA Intern – Manual Testing & Automation

About the role

Bricks Tech is seeking a motivated QA Intern to support manual testing and automation initiatives for its web and mobile applications. This 2‑month paid internship offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced AI‑first development environment.

Key responsibilities

• Test web and mobile applications for functionality, usability, responsiveness, and overall quality.
• Execute manual testing types such as functional, regression, smoke, UI/UX, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using project‑management tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and expected behavior.
• Create and maintain test cases, QA checklists, and testing documentation.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
• Support automation initiatives for repetitive QA and operational workflows.
• Learn and contribute to automation tools and processes to improve team efficiency.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, and product discussions.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in QA or software testing.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA concepts.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn automation tools and modern QA practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Jira, Postman, or TestRail.
• Basic API testing knowledge.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, n8n, Zapier, or Make.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross‑browser testing.
