QA/QC Document Controller – Steel Structure

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented QA/QC professional to manage documentation for steel structure, PEB and fabrication projects. The role is based on‑site in Gujranwala and involves close coordination with production, fabrication and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control all QA/QC documentation such as ITPs, method statements, quality plans, checklists, IRs, MIRS and MTCs.
• Maintain welding records including WPS, PQR, WPQ/WQT and NDT reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly QA/QC reports, NCRs and closure records.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, relevant codes (AWS, ASME, ISO) and client requirements.
• Handle client, consultant and TPI inspections and audit documentation, and compile final project handover dossiers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• 2‑4 years of experience in QA/QC documentation for steel structure, PEB or fabrication projects.
• Strong knowledge of welding and NDT records and relevant quality standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QA/QC documents: ITPs, method statements, quality plans, checklists, IRs, MIRS, MTCs.
• Experience maintaining welding documentation: WPS, PQR, WPQ/WQT, NDT reports.
• Familiarity with codes and standards: AWS, ASME, ISO.
• Competent use of MS Office and document control systems.
