QA/QC Engineer (High-rise Buildings)

About the role

We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer to join our construction team in Lahore, focusing on high‑rise building projects. The role involves ensuring that all works meet the required quality standards and specifications, from material selection to final finishes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct QA/QC inspections on site to verify compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, Inspection Requests (IRs), Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and other quality records.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and testing laboratories to facilitate approvals and testing activities.
• Monitor material approvals, oversee testing schedules and ensure timely completion of tests.
• Verify that construction activities follow approved drawings, specifications and quality procedures.
• Support corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues and improve overall project performance.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Applied Geology; PEC registration preferred.
• 6–7 years of QA/QC experience on high‑rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of ACI, ASTM, BS and ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience with concrete, finishing, waterproofing, material testing and QA/QC documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ACI, ASTM and BS standards.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management system.
• Concrete and material testing techniques.
• Waterproofing and finishing inspection methods.
• Preparation of QA/QC documentation and reports.
• Advanced use of MS Office for technical reporting.
