Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Vector Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its remote team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality software through both manual and automated testing, supporting agile development cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Perform thorough manual testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Create detailed test plans and test cases from product requirements and user stories.
• Track, document, and manage defects using bug‑tracking and test‑management tools.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to assess risks and define test strategies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Execute regression and performance testing to ensure stability and scalability.
• Utilize CI pipelines and build‑automation tools (Jenkins, Docker) for test execution.
• Maintain version control of test artifacts using Git.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of QA experience.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within Scrum/Agile frameworks.
• Understanding of financial‑industry concepts is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Self‑motivated with a focus on continuous improvement.
