Quality Assurance Manager (Steel Production)

About the role

Aziz Steel is seeking a full‑time Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA activities for its steel bar and billet production in Murīdke. The role is central to maintaining product quality, compliance with standards, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QA procedures and SOPs for steel production.
• Supervise inspection and testing of raw materials, in‑process items and finished products.
• Analyse quality data, track metrics, identify trends and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead root‑cause investigations for non‑conformities and coordinate resolutions with production and maintenance teams.
• Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO and industry specifications.
• Train and mentor staff on quality standards, safety protocols and best practices.
• Prepare regular reports for management on quality performance and improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong background in quality management within steel or heavy‑industry environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (CQE, Six Sigma) are a plus.
• Proven experience in supervising QA teams and leading cross‑functional projects.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO standards and material specifications for steel manufacturing.
• Proficiency with inspection and testing methods, measurement tools and result interpretation.
• Ability to analyse quality data, track metrics and generate actionable reports.
• Familiarity with CQE certification and Six Sigma methodologies.
