Quantity Surveyor (Civil) – Industrial Projects

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Civil) to join our team in Karachi, focusing on industrial building projects. The role involves managing cost estimation, tender documentation, and contract administration throughout project lifecycles.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender documents, and detailed cost estimates.
- Conduct rate analysis for construction works, materials, and subcontract items.
- Prepare and verify Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Verify contractor bills and process progress payments.
- Perform site measurements and quantity verification against drawings.
- Administer contracts, manage variation orders, and support claims.
- Monitor costs and coordinate with design, planning, and procurement teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in industrial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost control, contracts, rate analysis, and BBS.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
