Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. The role will focus on managing project costs, budgets and financial risks across a range of construction and real‑estate projects. You will work closely with project managers and contractors to ensure cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates from drawings, specifications and design documents.
• Develop, monitor and update project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular cost analyses, forecasts and variance reporting.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts and bills of quantities for vendors and subcontractors.
• Evaluate tenders, select cost‑effective contractors and manage contract administration.
• Review and verify invoices, progress claims and variations against agreed terms.
• Identify cost‑related risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Manage scope changes, produce cost impact analyses and report updates to the project team.
• Provide financial reports, including budget variances and forecasts, to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or real‑estate projects.
• DAE or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical, numerical and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with cost estimation software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
