Quantum Physics Researcher / Junior Professor (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Physics Expert (Post‑doc or Junior Professor) to join a leading research services organization on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on advanced quantum physics research with applications in areas such as quantum computing, materials science, or theoretical modeling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate theoretical models to explain physical phenomena or optimise experimental designs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate physics‑based solutions into product development or research initiatives.
• Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present results at academic and industry conferences.
• Mentor junior researchers or students on physics‑related projects and methodologies.
• Analyse experimental data, identify trends, validate hypotheses, and propose next steps.

Required profile

• PhD in Physics or a closely related field with a focus on quantum mechanics, solid‑state physics, or statistical mechanics.
• Experience with computational tools for modelling and simulation.
• Background in experimental physics, including hands‑on laboratory work and data acquisition.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
