Receptionist - Gym

About the role

A gym is looking for a receptionist to welcome members, visitors and potential clients and to run the front desk. The role covers call handling, membership administration and keeping the reception area tidy, while supporting the management team with administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome gym members, visitors and potential clients with a friendly, professional first impression.
• Manage incoming calls, answer inquiries and give information on memberships, packages, facilities and services.
• Handle membership registrations, renewals, appointments and member check-ins.
• Maintain accurate records of memberships, attendance and client information.
• Assist members with queries and direct them to the right trainers or staff.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized and welcoming.
• Support the management team with administrative tasks, data entry and daily operations.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk or customer service role; gym experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; English fluency preferred.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast pace.
• Friendly, confident, professional appearance, punctual and willing to work with gym staff and trainers.
