About the role

Capital Care International Hospital in Islamabad is looking for a professional Receptionist to be the welcoming first point of contact for patients, attendants, visitors, and staff. The role involves managing front‑desk operations while ensuring confidentiality, courtesy, and accuracy in a busy hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and guide patients, attendants, visitors, and healthcare professionals to the appropriate departments.
• Answer, screen, and route incoming calls and respond to routine inquiries professionally.
• Register patients, verify basic information, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate front‑desk records.
• Coordinate with clinical, diagnostic, billing, and administrative teams to support timely patient service.
• Provide clear information about hospital services, visiting procedures, and directions within the facility.
• Manage visitor flow, receive messages and documents, and escalate urgent concerns to relevant staff.
• Maintain an organized reception area and follow hospital policies for privacy and safety.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication and courteous patient‑service skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and confident front‑desk interaction.
• Good organization, time‑management, and attention to detail in a busy healthcare setting.
• Calm, empathetic, and professional approach when assisting patients and attendants.
• Understanding of confidentiality, workplace safety, and respectful handling of sensitive information.
• Fluency in English and Urdu; additional local language skills are an advantage.
